Bought one of these 40+ years ago, and it is still good! Especially enjoy using the prism sighting feature for extra accuracy. In these days of GPS and phone apps, maybe not quite as essential most of the time, but when the batteries in everything else have failed, a good compass (and situational-awareness) is potentially a life-saver. Wouldn't be without it
Replaced a long standing Tikka Core after the battery reached end of life. New model is as good and hopefully will prove as reliable in use. New arrangement for access to charging port is fiddly and slow which is a pity but otherwise great.
