Excellent bit of kit. Can not comment on the performance difference between this and regular expedition version but it is very well made. For the difference in price I thought I’d opt for this version. Hopefully will justify the outlay with longevity of service. Fresh air junkie offers incredible value for money so had to take a punt. Thanks for stocking this guys.

This is exceptionally good. It is better than I expected. I run daily early morning sessions and it is fantastic. The brightness is so intense that I do not need to use the maximum setting. I am very happy with it.
Non stick is really good on this pan. Delivery was fast.
I really like this head torch.I had an earlier version of it, from many years ago, and one recurring problem was that it sometimes switched on whilst in my rucksack. This one has resolved that issue, is super bright and a little lighter in weight.

Used this torch on 3 over night hikes. Its got 3 different white light modes and a red mode. Ive used it on the lowest light setting most of the time around camp and its great. So lightweight and perfect for multi day hikes. Havent had to charge it again and used over 3 nights.
Well made compression bag, fits both my 1985 North Face Bullfrog without poles (yes, that’s right still around) or millet base camp 1300 sleeping bag. Strong stitching and good material.
Used the bag for the first time camping at 3,200m in a September storm in Morocco, when temperature was about 3°C. It was ideal; good pack weight and size, lofted well, great warmth. The mesh storage bag is another useful feature.
I just used this cook kit on a two night solo wild camping trip in the Lake District, it's really good. you can pack it away with a gas canister inside the pot so the whole kit is really small. Simple, practical and perfect for what I needed. The frying pan lid is a bit of a novelty to be honest as you could only ever really fit one egg in there and who's carrying around boxes of eggs when they're backpacking. But never the less this is a great piece of kit and I'd definitely recommend.

Lightweight, super comfortable and with plenty of space for everything you need for shorter/summer ultras and longer training runs. The pocket at the bottom is perfect for storing a lightweight waterproof jacket allowing for easy access without the requirement to remove the whole bag. Only minimal storage in top pocket so not so good for longer events or those requiring more kit but overall a great product at a really reasonable price!

Not tried the gloves out yet,ordered a large size and the fit is OK there is just a little bit of space between the ends of my fingers and the tip of the glove.- but hey we all are different so not complaining.They look good quality,as a winter climber though I would like the option to hang my gloves off the harness so the snow and rain doesn't get in.A small point I know but more climbers would possible consider the glove if that option was available.

Used this stove on 3 camps now and its worked perfect for boiling up water quickly. Was windy on one of the nights, but didnt affect the flame to much. I havent used for cooking but it has a regulator so it should be fine for that purpose
I needed a new set of Gaiters and was like looking for something breathable and not too expensive. These Treckmates Goretex gaiters seemed to fit the bill. I am delighted with them. They are fairly slim fitting which is great, no loose material to catch while hiking. The strap is strong and fits well under boots. They breath well and do exactly what a good set of gaiters needs to do. Definitely recommend these and will likely be purchasing a second set for my sone in the near future.
