The Cocoon story began in 1989 when the Cocoon founder Josef Sturm nearly got swept away in a river while travelling in Bali.
What was he doing? - simply washing his unwieldy, self sewn cotton sleeping bag in the river.
From that moment on, Josef was dedicated to developing well designed, lightweight, functional products aimed at adventurers, travellers and mountaineers all over the world.
