Used the bag for the first time camping at 3,200m in a September storm in Morocco, when temperature was about 3°C. It was ideal; good pack weight and size, lofted well, great warmth. The mesh storage bag is another useful feature.
I just used this cook kit on a two night solo wild camping trip in the Lake District, it's really good. you can pack it away with a gas canister inside the pot so the whole kit is really small. Simple, practical and perfect for what I needed. The frying pan lid is a bit of a novelty to be honest as you could only ever really fit one egg in there and who's carrying around boxes of eggs when they're backpacking. But never the less this is a great piece of kit and I'd definitely recommend.
The compass was exactly as described and delivered with impressive speed.
