When we designed the Free headlamp we wanted to create more out of less. Less hassle, less heat, less complexity. We made many new innovations out of the challenge and the result is the all new Silva Free headlamp series. We have removed everything that was unnecessary and made everything that was great even greater. Silva Free is a headlamp with more comfort, more light and more flexibility. Free technology: Less hassle - more comfort
Silva Free has the power cord integrated in the headband. You never need to bother with distracting cords or tangled wires ever again. Feeling free is now a more comfortable experience.

Airflow technology: Less heat - more light
Cooling is essential for how well the headlamp performs. We invented the airflow technology and included an integrated aluminium cooler in the design because we wanted you to have great light regardless of what activity you do, even if you are standing still taking a break. The result is higher quality light from a cooler lamp.

Modular technology: less complexity– more flexibility
All parts and accessories are interchangeable. This means that you can not only switch between batteries – you can also change lamp units. The connection interface of Silva Free is made from gold plated snap-in connectors. This is an interface that is the same for all parts in the Free series.

Silva Intelligent Light: a double beam technology – for higher speed
A double beam technology featured in all Silva headlamps. The combination of a long reach spot light and a close flood light results in led head movement, better control, improved balance, less fatigue and higher speed.

Mix and match your headlamp
Silva Free is a headlamp series with mix and match availability. Choose between three different lamp units, four batteries and three mount options. All parts are interchangeable, so you don’t need to buy a new headlamp for your different activities. Simply just add another lamp unit, battery and mount kit to your setup. All parts can be bought separately.

Go for 3000 lumen when you want to go full speed and need lots of light. Choose 2000 lumen for high-speed activities in demanding terrain like ski mountaineering and mountain biking. 1200 lumen is the ultimate choice for ski-touring, XC-skiing and trail running. Likewise, choose the optimal battery for your activity. The smaller the battery the lighter and smoother feeling on the back of your head. The bigger the battery the longer it will keep you going.

Lumen, i.e. light output, depends on burn time – and the other way around. This is why we encourage you to use the optimal battery for your activity. A lot of lumen and a lot of burn time require a lot of battery power. However, a lower lumen headlamp also require a lot of battery power if you want a very long burn time. Or choose a more lightweight battery if you do not need as much burn time.

Bar mounts, helmet mounts and GoPro mounts are also available as accessories to your Silva Free headlamp as well as extra long extension cables and top band.

At FreshAirJunkie we understand that when you order a product you want it to arrive as soon as possible and with the minimum of fuss, so when an order is received by us, we promise to try our best to dispatch it within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). 

Orders received on a Saturday or Sunday will be packed on the day and dispatched on the following Monday. 

To cut costs for our customers, we dispatch all items via a Royal Mail 48 hour Tracked Service. For larger items or high value items, we mainly use Parcelforce. The estimated delivery time for 2nd Class is delivery by the 3rd working day after posting. Whilst Royal Mail state that most items will be delivered within these time frames it can occasionally take up to 15 days after the due delivery date. 

Unfortunately once the items are with Royal Mail we lose any influence and control over their delivery. 

We ask all customers to be patient when waiting for their products to arrive. If for some reason you have not received your product within a reasonable length of time then please don't hesitate to contact us at: freshairjunkie@hotmail.co.uk so we can look into it for you.

For any items where tracking shows delivered, but the customer denies receipt, the customer agrees to fill in a Royal Mail 'Denial of Receipt' form, so the delivery can be investigated.

Please note, if your parcel arrives opened, or damaged, please check the contents before accepting delivery. Any problems should be noted with the delivery person, or parcels should be refused, Once you accept delivery, we are unable to make a claim to Royal Mail for loss.

It is very important that you provide a delivery address that is accessible and where someone will be in to receive the item, or there is a safe place agreed with Royal Mail for your deliveries.

We do not deliver to Parcel Lockers.

All items will be delivered to the address, and not guaranteed to be handed over in person.

Please note, all expedited orders will be sent using the selected carrier method. Unfortunately, Royal Mail and Parcelforce cannot guarantee delivery times, especially next day. They still however charge us for the additional service, and we still process the same day and dispatch the same day. We can therefore not refund any expedited order costs, if delivery times are missed.

Multiple item orders and/or high value orders will be sent via an expedited service. This is shown at checkout.

We also reserve the right to choose the most appropriate shipping service as we see fit, which may result in a higher charge to cover for example, added insurance cover.
