Works well

Gas burner clips perfectly into place. You may need to cut a notch in the side of the old aluminium base for the fuel line to the gas cylinder. The gas burner is potentially much more powerful than the original spirit one which is fine for kettle and pans but if you completely cover the top of the cooker with the frying lid the flame may go out due to lack of oxygen.

    Doesn't fill me with confidence.

    Powerful and did the job but it could really do with someway to adjust the jets. Main disappointment is the delay after taking your thumb off and the jets stopping is surprisingly long. Will continue my search for a better lighter of this variety.
