The sighting compass designed for skilled navigators is utilized by NATO Forces worldwide. It is primarily employed by infantry as a compass for soldiers or officers. Additional features include measurement scales for positioning (GPS), graduations in mils and degrees (6400/360), an integrated magnetic declination adjuster, a magnifying lens, and rubber feet for accurate map work. The compass features a luminous graduation ring and markings for reading the compass in the dark. Once activated by daylight or a flashlight, it can provide illumination for up to 4 hours. The included scale lanyard and slope card facilitate quick distance estimation of your route or allow for route planning in advance. This model also includes a circular spirit level (bubble level) to show whether a surface is horizontal (level) or vertical.
