When we designed the Free headlamp we wanted to create more out of less. Less cords, less hassle, less complexity. We made many new innovations out of the challenge and the result is the all new Silva Free headlamp series. We have removed everything that was unnecessary and made everything that was great even greater. Silva Free is a headlamp with more comfort, more light and more flexibility. This is a headlamp is a global innovation with greater use.

Introducing the Free technologies
Free technology: Less hassle - more comfort
Silva Free has the power cord integrated in the headband. You never need to bother with distracting cords ever again. Feeling free is now a more comfortable experience.

Airflow technology: Less heat - more light
Cooling is essential for how well the headlamp performs. The Free Airflow technology is developed together with experts within thermodynamics and means that the lamps are designed with an optimized aluminium cooler together with a protective plastic case that provides maximum ventilation and cooling, even when standing still. The result is high quality light regardless of the activity, even when the airflow or cooling is not optimal.

Modular technology: Less complexity – more flexibility
All parts and accessories are interchangeable which means that you can complement or upgrade your lamp with a different battery, lamp head unit or mount kit. The lamp unit and battery can easily be disconnected from the headband to instead be mounted on your helmet, your bike bar or frame.

Silva Intelligent Light: a double beam technology – for higher speed
Silva Intelligent Light is a double beam technology featured in all Silva Free headlamps. The combination of a long reach spot light and a close flood light results in led head movement, better control, improved balance, less fatigue and higher speed.

One headlamp for all your activities
Silva Free is a headlamp series with mix and match availability. Choose between three different lamp units, four batteries and three mount options. All parts are interchangeable, so you don’t need to buy a new headlamp for your different activities. Simply just add another lamp unit, battery and mount kit to your setup. All parts can be bought separately.

Find the right balance between lumen (light), burn time and weight
Choosing the right headlamp is all about finding the right balance between lumen (light), burn time and weight. These are all affected by each other, so finding the right balance for you depends on what activity you will be using your headlamp for. Therefore, you need to consider the relationship between brightness and how long you want spend time outdoor, as well as the speed and terrain. The faster you move and the more challenging terrain, the more powerful light you need. Choose Free 1200 and a lighter battery when your main activity is trail running, cross country skiing and ski touring. Choose Free 2000-3000 and a heavier battery when you move at high speed and in demanding terrains like mountain biking, ski mountaineering and skiing.

Accessories to your Free series
If you want to carry as little weight as possible use the included extension cable and place the battery in your pocket or in your backpack. Bar mounts, helmet mounts and GoPro mounts are also available as accessories to your Silva Free headlamp as well as extra long extension cables and top band.

At FreshAirJunkie we understand that when you order a product you want it to arrive as soon as possible and with the minimum of fuss, so when an order is received by us, we promise to try our best to dispatch it within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). 

Orders received on a Saturday or Sunday will be packed on the day and dispatched on the following Monday. 

To cut costs for our customers, we dispatch all items via a Royal Mail 48 hour Tracked Service. For larger items or high value items, we mainly use Parcelforce. The estimated delivery time for 2nd Class is delivery by the 3rd working day after posting. Whilst Royal Mail state that most items will be delivered within these time frames it can occasionally take up to 15 days after the due delivery date. 

Unfortunately once the items are with Royal Mail we lose any influence and control over their delivery. 

We ask all customers to be patient when waiting for their products to arrive. If for some reason you have not received your product within a reasonable length of time then please don't hesitate to contact us at: freshairjunkie@hotmail.co.uk so we can look into it for you.

For any items where tracking shows delivered, but the customer denies receipt, the customer agrees to fill in a Royal Mail 'Denial of Receipt' form, so the delivery can be investigated.

Please note, if your parcel arrives opened, or damaged, please check the contents before accepting delivery. Any problems should be noted with the delivery person, or parcels should be refused, Once you accept delivery, we are unable to make a claim to Royal Mail for loss.

It is very important that you provide a delivery address that is accessible and where someone will be in to receive the item, or there is a safe place agreed with Royal Mail for your deliveries.

We do not deliver to Parcel Lockers.

All items will be delivered to the address, and not guaranteed to be handed over in person.

Please note, all expedited orders will be sent using the selected carrier method. Unfortunately, Royal Mail and Parcelforce cannot guarantee delivery times, especially next day. They still however charge us for the additional service, and we still process the same day and dispatch the same day. We can therefore not refund any expedited order costs, if delivery times are missed.

Multiple item orders and/or high value orders will be sent via an expedited service. This is shown at checkout.

We also reserve the right to choose the most appropriate shipping service as we see fit, which may result in a higher charge to cover for example, added insurance cover.
