GORE-TEX Packable Overmitt with advanced Gore Active technology is the ideal companion for wet days or as a waterproof layer over thermal gloves. Durable recycled Polyamide outer with DWR GORE-TEX Technology repels moisture and keeps you warm, while the recycled 210T Polyester taffeta lining allows for easy hand insertion. An elastic wrist tether inside the cuff hem and adjustable drawcord cuff makes sure the warmth is sealed in. Plus, it comes with a stuff bag for convenient storage!

Freshair Junkie - Trekmates Scafell Goretex Overmitt

Great product, best price, and fast free delivery. Excellent service. This was a repeat order from this company as I had previously purchased this item for myself. Bought another two pairs for my son and my wife, who managed to loose her original pair in The Lakes this winter. A must have piece of kit for mountain hiking, they will go with me on my mountain adventures this year. Highly recommended, I would purchase from Freshair Junkie in the future, 5* plus!

I reviewed online plenty of alternative overmitts before deciding on these. They were used over two days in the Lake District - the first day was the worst torrential rain and gale force winds I’ve ever experienced in my many years of hiking. In these conditions they were great for the first hour but then couldn’t cope and I ended up pouring the water out at the end of the 7 hour hike. Warm hands though. To be fair, I don’t think anything would have coped in the conditions. On the second day it was ice pellets, snow, a blizzard and very strong winds. In these conditions they were fantastic - I had a pair of wool gloves on with these over the top and they kept my hands cosy warm and dry all day. The wrist loops are a big plus too so they don’t get blown away when briefly taking off. Trekmates included a small bag to pack them in - I’ll never use that but a nice inclusion. So overall, really good and so glad I purchased them. If I could add one change to them it would be a nose wipe on the thumb but that’s all. Superb service from Freshairjunkie too as it was a last minute purchase and they arrived within 24hrs. Nice one😁
