I’m in my 70’s and no longer into backpacking but often carry my trianga kit (with kettle) to make tea when out and about.
The gas burner is very good for clean and efficient for boiling water and cooking, and although traditional trianga liquid fuel burner is excellent and proven in use over 100years, the gas burner gives a true alternative if carrying a gas canister is not a problem.
